NIFF distributes football kits to 18 new academies

National and International Footballers Forum J&K Saturday organises kit distribution function among newly established football academies from various districts, at TRC turf football stadium Srinagar.

The function was presided over by Farooq Khan, Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, who was the Cheif Guest on the occasion and distributed kits among the academies.

Advisor Khan in his address said, "it is great to see volunteer organizations like NIFF coming forward for the encouragement of players and betterment of the game."

 He also congratulated NIFF management for organising such type of events in a successful manner.

Khan also interacted with International footballers of J&K which included Mohammad Yousuf Dar, Khursheed Ahmed Baba, Mohd Syed, Aslam Parveez, Zahoor Haroon, Mehraj Wadoo, Sajid Dar and Hilal Parray.

While addressing them he emphasized on taking responsibility forward of producing local talent across J&K.

The kits were distributed to 18 new academies from various districts which  included football space markers, cones, agility ladder, bibbs, ballbags and many other items adequate for the running of any academy centre smoothly.

The function was organised by NIFF J&K and the entire expenditure on the purchase of the said kit/equipment was contributed by NIFF members out of their own contribution.

The NIFF is going to organize another kit distribution function at Jammu for Jammu region academies in the month of January next year.
