World-renowned chef, Floyd Cardoz, who was tested positive with Covid -19, passed away at the age of 59 on Wednesday.
As per reports, Floyd Cardoz – chef, author, restauranteur, food entrepreneur, winner of Bravo’s Top Chef Masters – who brought his talents to Hillside School and other events in Montclair, has died of complications from COVID-19.
Last week Cardoz had taken to his Instagram and shared that he was not feeling well. He posted a picture of himself in a hospital with the caption, "Sincere apologies everyone. I am sorry for causing undue panic around my earlier post. I was feeling feverish and hence as a precautionary measure, admitted myself into hospital in New York. I was hugely anxious about my state of health and my post was highly irresponsible causing panic in several quarters. I returned to New York on March 8th via Frankfurt."
